Show Stopping Lakeside Lodges in Lincolnshire

Spectacular sunset barbecues. A sky filled with stars. When you think about it, many holiday memories rely on the right doors and windows to make those moments even more magical. With this in mind, we were excited to support long standing client Jon Padley of Towermist Ltd, supplying and installing fenestration solutions for six idyllic lakeside cabins in the Lincolnshire countryside.

Creating a connection to nature

Set within the grounds of Wyberton House, these luxury hot tub cabins are nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close by you’ll find seaside beaches, RSPB marshland reserves, the Lincolnshire Wolds and historic market towns such as Boston and Lincoln. A peaceful base from which to enjoy an alfresco lifestyle and panoramic natural views.

Slow living staycations have become a huge trend in recent years, with biophilic design and a connection to nature becoming a particular focus.

From increasing natural light to allowing holidaymakers a quiet moment to soak up the great outdoors, we felt there was a wealth of opportunity within this project. Namely, to provide an instant wow-factor and potential wellness benefits with our range of high quality products.

Harnessing the essence of true luxury

When recommending a product selection, we kept in mind the aesthetics and design features of the cabin collection, consisting of six larch clad lodges furnished with comfort and quality in mind.

Each lodge was to have a private veranda overhanging the lake. A bubbling hot tub and cosy outdoor lounge furniture completed the set up.

It was also important to reflect that each lodge was carefully positioned to be private (and to perfectly capture the iconic sunsets often seen in the Fens). Additionally, a large sky light would be positioned over the bed for a night of stargazing with inspiring views also available from both the decking and hot tub.

Taking care to ensure a smooth finish

Feeling inspired by the setting, team member Oli and director John were able to finalise product selections and timescales. First measuring and manufacturing bespoke solutions before supplying and installing the products as the luxury hot tub lodges were constructed onsite. To complete the project, we called on specialist Kevin from Install Direct.

In the finished loges you’ll spot our signature UPVC casement windows in both on-trend Anthracite Grey and Classic White, alongside French doors, bifold doors and bespoke windows, specifically angled to frame the surrounding natural beauty.

Looking particularly wonderful at twilight, these lodges reflect the very best of our team’s craftsmanship and the client’s vision. We’re also proud to say this project ran on time, allowing the lodges to be advertised for staycations on schedule.

Having worked numerous times with this already much-valued client, we look forward to collaborating again in the future. Particularly if the views are as beautiful as this.
